Tayla

Registered psychologist

Tayla is a registered psychologist with experience supporting children, teens and families across a range of psychological and developmental needs.

She has a particular interest in working with children aged 7 years and older, helping them build confidence, develop emotional awareness and navigate everyday challenges.

Tayla takes a warm, client-centred approach, prioritising a strong therapeutic relationship where children feel safe, heard and understood. She works collaboratively with children and their families to ensure support reflects their individual needs, strengths and family values.

Tayla draws on evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness-based strategies, psychoeducation and skills-based interventions. She tailors her approach to each child, ensuring therapy is engaging, meaningful and aligned with their goals.

Tayla offers psychological assessments, including cognitive, ADHD and Autism assessments, as well as ongoing therapeutic support. She is passionate about helping children and families better understand their strengths and needs, providing practical recommendations to support wellbeing and development. Appointments are available face-to-face and via telehealth.

Alongside her clinical work, Tayla is the Clinical Lead at Tic Tac Toe Psychology, where she provides peer support to psychologists and contributes to clinical case discussions, ethical decision-making and the ongoing development of the practice.

Outside of psychology, Tayla enjoys finding a good coffee, Pilates and spending time with friends.
